D5-D6 Ultra

The Escomatic D6 CNC ULTRA was created to revolutionize production. The tool head, rotating at 12,000 rpm, features three cutting tools that can be controlled independently, depending on your needs, for greater flexibility and process simplification. It is possible to machine the front and back of the workpiece simultaneously. The DUF machining system includes three axial spindles for drilling and tapping. The sub-spindle with a C-axis and the DUF system are each mounted on a table equipped with separate CNC axes with a travel speed of 40 m/minute. The cut workpiece can be re-machined (DUAL) by three axial spindles and one transverse spindle at a speed of 18,000 rpm, for ultra-high-performance secondary machining operations. All of this is assisted by a new, dedicated Pegasus/Beckhoff CNC control system specific to the machine, for greater flexibility and ease of use.
