NM8 FLEXI

Power and speed

The NM8 Flexi machine incorporates all the concepts of the NM6 Flexi machine which have made this screw machine one of the most efficient products on the market.

To meet the constraints of machining larger diameters, we have developed the following specific components:

A completely new work head with a material passage of up to 8 mm.
Two CNC axes for the management of turning tools, which allows the simultaneous working of 2 cutting tools.
A new straightening device ensures high-quality straightening up to 8 mm.

As on the NM6 Flexi machines, the use of two completely independent cross tables for the support of the secondary tools allows the parallel machining of 2 parts: one part machined by turning and front operation while the second part positioned in the counter spindle is machined at the rear.

The material can be loaded in the form of rolls (torches) up to a diameter of 8 mm. It is then transformed into straight material by the rotary straightening system. The machine has been configured so that the straightening unit can be removed and the machine equipped with a commercially available bar feeder for loading conventional bars.
